Letters from a Maximalist

This collection of work was created in response to the minimalism forced on our lives during the pandemic. Countering the simplicity of my daily experience with excess in the form of complex compositions, bold colors, layering and repetition, patterns and textures,  I adopted a maximalist mindset, adhering to the notion that “more is more.”

Each painting in the series will be paired with a handwritten letter describing inspirations behind the painting, details surrounding its origin, and bits of information relevant to the work and/or collector.
